Once a term, the Sixth Form tutors will have both group and one-to-one meetings (tutorials) with students, which are a chance to discuss current achievement, attendance, progression plans, and raise concerns or answer questions.

We communicate important information and opportunities to the students in a number of ways. Notices and reminders form a small part of our daily 15 minute registration, but registration is primarily a valuable personal and social development programme, encompassing progression and careers, study skills, current affairs, mental and physical wellbeing, culture and diversity, and teamwork, among others.

In addition, students will be expected to attend a fortnightly assembly, which will include visiting speakers, on a range of topics relevant to Year 12.

The weekly bulletin is emailed directly to the students on Thursdays, and contains information about work experience opportunities, student shadowing, or lectures, among others. This information comes to us from external organisations such as the NHS, universities, colleges, apprenticeship providers, and local employers.
